I have been staying with the Maks in their apartment on the 28th floor in West Kowloon. There are two buildings, one for police, and the other for fire fighters and other public servants. From the window I can see the busy docks and get a great view of the bay. It's still a little un-nerving sleeping 28 stories up after living in earth quake rich Japan. Uncle Rico cooks a wide variety of great Chinese food made with the freshest of ingredients. I'm going to miss having a seperate shower and toilet...
